First Florida gubernatorial debate this Friday night

Alex Sink (D) and Rick Scott (R), candidates for Florida governor, will debate for the first time this Friday, hosted by Spanish-language TV network Univision.  The debate will be the first ever Spanish-language debate for candidates for governor in the state.  It will be taped at 1 pm and aired in Spanish with English subtitles at 11 pm.  It will then be available immediately following the broadcast in English and Spanish on www.Univision23.com.


According to Univision, “Hispanics represent 13 percent of the Florida electorate. Moreover, the state’s registered Latino voters have doubled in the past eight years.”
